Here is a link to an interesting article on transport Michael Cranmer thoughts on transport . It is unfair when looking at transport modes at the moment. Rail is cleaner than air yet has higher taxes. Also interesting to think of what needs to be incentivised, should we always make longer journeys cheaper. There are other things to consider, cycling and walking are good for health and quality of life, should we aim to spend more time traveling?
