The details matter as we can make progress and be happy with that, we don't have to optimise and only be happy if we get the final solution, we can be pleased with the progress we make and keep making incremental steps 

God works all things together for our good, we don't have to deserve this or earn this, that is who he is. God loves us and wants good for us and we can trust him to lead us to do what's best for us in all circumstances.
